SEO stands for search engine optimization. It is the optimization of website content with respect to search engines (Google, Bing, Yahoo, etc.), with the goal that they will index your website correctly.

Figuring out what your target audience finds interesting is obviously important: think up interesting texts, make good slogans and brighten up the text with suitable images, photos or videos. At the same time, also think about the semantic structure of a text or page.
What matters to visitors is that visiting your website is an interesting and good experience.
STRUCTURE AND SEMANTICS
Your articles are stored in the HTM language. This language consists of elements that can code parts of a page to form a semantic structure that, if used correctly, will improve the "readability" of a page by search engines.
Title elements H1 through H6 can clarify the hierarchy of a page with H1 being the most important and H6 the least important. Compare it a bit to a book or a document that starts with a main title (H1) and then continues with chapters (H2) and possibly sub-chapters (H3) and so on. H5 and H6 are rarely used. Text is further composed of paragraphs and subparagraphs.
In my sites, I often use the schema.org tags as well because they respond better to search engine algorithms.
SO WRITE PURELY FOR YOUR TARGET AUDIENCE BUT KEEP THE STRUCTURE IN MIND.
So don't make the mistake of wanting to write for search engines, that will be counterproductive. Furthermore, search engines favor content that is shared and distributed to others because that usually provides useful external backlinks.
ARE KEYWORDS STILL IMPORTANT?
Many SEO discussions revolve around keywords and I divide them into several categories. META Tag keywords are words that remain invisible to visitors but readable by search engines. They can often be added to a page in the web text editor but had to be relevant to the article or the page in question. Knowing that Google is still the biggest search engine, you definitely want to know what they think about it. Whereas it used to be different, nowadays META Tag keywords do not yield an advantage.
On the other hand, you have the descriptive META Tag of 150-160 characters which is also invisible to a visitor. This tag provides a brief description of the content of an article or page to search engines. Normally you can also enter this description in the web text editor. This META Tag can become useful unless the content of the page in question provides better information.
Tab Text. The short text in the browser tab of a page should also be a very short description of this page. Not all web systems offer this possibility though.

Good results can be obtained by creating Google AdWords campaigns when one has a good understanding of its functioning and also has the right budget to do it. Depending on what you do, competition can be rude while it is a bidding strategy.

Even with the best SEO optimization, little results can be achieved when no one is really interested in your story or product. You may well need to use other ways of attracting attention first to create a snowball effect. It helps a lot when you have an exceptional product or service to offer. Many get frustrated when quick results are not forthcoming and often give up. The competition to get enough attention can be merciless, try to find out if you are meeting the expectations of your target audience.
